The Kingston Brewing Company is Ontario's oldest
brew pub, established in 1986, and is Canada's oldest wine-producing
pub. Beers, wines, ciders and soda pops are made on the premises.
Food is pub standard with unique twists with beer used in many
of the recipes. A courtyard and street-front patio, as well as
a banquet room (known as the Dragon's Lair), makes this pub is a must visit.
A
large collection of beer memorabilia and pub photos will also
keep your eyes busy for days and inspire more than a few conversations.
The building itself is an 1800's-era brick and stone — originally
used as a telegraph office
— and the original vaults are still in use.
Pub Hours:
11 a.m. - 2 a.m., 7 days a week.
Closed on Christmas Day.
